A 61-year-old Danish man has been sentenced to 30 years in federal prison using online accounts to stalk and threaten an 11-year-old Missouri girl.
Kai Lundstroem Pedersen of Randers, Denmark, was sentenced Thursday in Kansas City to 30 years in prison for extorting the Buchanan County girl into making child pornography. He pleaded guilty in September to producing child pornography, extortion and transporting child pornography.
The Kansas City Star reports that ( AduYYm) Pedersen met the girl online in July 2010 and convinced her he was a 14-year-old boy.
He persuaded the girl to pose nude in front of a web camera and recorded the session. He then threatened to post the video online and send it to her friends and family, which he eventually did.
